I am lucky enough to actually know Rook No. 17 in real life...in fact we knew each other way before blogging and our kiddos all hang out together. She has been a busy bee (and she does not know I am doing this - HA!). Jenn crafts with extraordinary precision and detail...and she cooks and bakes like no one I have ever met. On her blog are a few (OK, there are tons, but I am focusing on the "now") fanciful things that I thought needed to be shared.

Jenn has always been a *star* with the German glass glitter. When I met her 5 years ago, I swooned over her "Dream" letters in the girl's room...and she was way hip with all-things-vintage (you should see her house!) and vintage sheet music then too. Check out her Magnolias using vintage sheet music and German Glass glitter. BEAUTIFUL!
And here is a great stocking stuffer! Upcycle those socks into play donuts!
And....if you would like some real donuts, Jenn has a fabulous recipe for baked donuts. And yes, they are GOOD...better than good actually....DIVINE! In fact our little ones had a lemonade and donut stand this weekend and made quite the killing - I am sure it was the donuts that brought the customer in!*********************************
So, Jenn had no idea I was doing this,
So, Jenn had no idea I was doing this,
but these were some goodies that just HAD to be shared.
Thanks Jenn for being my friend and for always inspiring me.

ReplyDelete*sniffle* Yes, seriously Holly, you brought a tear (of joy) to my eye. What an incredible surprise, and such a genuine and touching gesture of friendship! When I get in one of my grumpy moods, and begin to snap out of it by "counting my blessings", you are always one of the blessings that I count. I am so glad that we're friends, and that our families are close as well. Your kind words and accolades really mean a lot, as you're someone whose talent and sense of style & taste I really admire! I may just attack you with a "Maddie" hug the next time I see you, so be warned. Your RLF, and "Bloggers Anonymous" member, Jenn
