In spite of the fact that I over complicate everything
(E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G!),
once in awhile I actually do come up with a
super simple project and here is one of them...
A Super Cute Bunny Banner
That is totally doable before the big bunny day!
First I must tell you the bunny shape AND the idea to use the Fluted paper from Canvas Corp (she used cardboard) comes from the lovely
Prior and her vintage bunny banner.

A Super Cute Bunny Banner
That is totally doable before the big bunny day!
First I must tell you the bunny shape AND the idea to use the Fluted paper from Canvas Corp (she used cardboard) comes from the lovely
Prior and her vintage bunny banner.
SUPPLIES
- Corrugated Paper, Flute Paper from Canvas Corp, 1 sheet*
- Scrapbook/craft paper, Lime Green and White Ribbon Stripes, Canvas Corp,
- Miscellaneous scrapbook paper (already had)*
- Hole punch
- Scissors
- Template
- Ribbon, twine, jute
Optional:
- Embellishments as you wish - I used these paper flowers from Michael's (in the dollar section)
- Distress Ink (because I love it)
- Glue (hot glue)
DIY IT!
- Printout template HERE (let me know if you have trouble...this is not my forte)
- Cut bunnies out using template or your own shape.
- I fit 2 bunnies on each 12 x 12 paper. I flipped them, one up and one down to get both to fit.
- Punch one hole in each ear.
- OPTIONAL: distress edges with Distress Ink
- Layout the design (which papers alternate) and then take ribbon and weave in and out. Be sure to leave enough hanging to be able to hang the banner.
- OPTIONAL: Embellish bunnies or cord - I used hot glue to affix the little flowers between the bunnies.
Could it be any easier???
Not really!
Totally doable before the big bunny day!

ReplyDeleteThat is adorable!! I think I'm going to get out the supplies for little ones who need to keep busy during spring break! Thanks, Holly!
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks for the Shout Out...I love your printed paper...see that is what is good about making your own decorations. The stuff in the stores is too pastel for my house, but this way you can use something that won't clash, but still have that holiday feel. Sure wish I could have a craft day with you girls.
