Back to School Party!

School is in full swing for us here in Central California!
I will never get used to starting school in early August!
But to ease the pain of that early start time,
I had a little shopping spree at OshKosh B'gosh and

This was just what my favorite moms and kids needed after our first week of school!
These cute kiddos spend much of the summer together, and when school rolls around, they miss each other. They do no all go to the same school and they are not all in the same grade, so this was the perfect opportunity to catch up!

The first order of business was to give each kiddo their very own OshKosh B'gosh graphic tee - perfect for the party and for school. I love these original hand drawn tees! Of course the Tee's will look so cute with some denim.
They kids even created a cheer to show their love for OshKosh B'gosh and school!

Then, to commemorate the 2013-2014 school year, I took a photo of each child in front of the "We {heart} School" Banner I made last week.

OshKosh B'gosh sent me some canvas totes and reusable lunch bags along with a great selection of fabric markers as part of their party package. I set up an activity table outside and the kids really enjoyed this project.

They got so creative and took their time with these masterpieces!

They used the fabric markers to create their own
animal print, rainbow, polka dots, and puppy paw prints.

They kept on decorating their bags all night.

 There were some fun coloring pages too. 
(my daughter is still enjoying these)
  

And then...when the photos were taken and the bags all decorated...

it was time for "Cookies and Milk-Shakes."

The Big Kids came out of the woodwork for the Milkshakes!

This OshKosh B'gosh party was simply a success, and definitely needs to become a tradition!
The party was just what these kids (and moms) needed!
