Well, since the wreath takes 15 minutes of less to make, let's not prolong this tutorial!
Supplies
- 10" or 12" Wreath form. Just about any one will do - straw, foam, heck you can even cut a circle out of cardboard!
- (Gold) tinsel garland. I can make 2 from one length of garland (usually garlands are about 20 feet long)
- Plaid ribbon
- Optional glue or floral picks or floral pins
1. Hold, pin or hot glue one end to the back of your wreath. I held mine and tied and tucked it at the end. Using a pin or hot glue may make it easier for you to maneuver.
2. Grab the excess and start wrapping it around the form.
Wrap it fairly tightly and close together - you do not want to see the form at all.
When you get to the end, clip the garland, leaving some extra to either tie it to your beginning piece or glue it down or use a floral pick.
3. Tie a bow in your choice of print - I totally prefer plaid!
I love the opposites attract style of this wreath!
Hang it up and let everyone be envious of your delightfully obnoxious wreath!
